There’s going to be no way around it: it will feel raw this Black Friday and weekend.
The bitter cold will remain this weekend and beyond.
While Friday temps are in the low to mid-40s, it will feel significantly chillier. It may still technically be fall, but it is going feel like the middle of winter. Temperatures Friday overnight will be around 31 degrees -- making it the first freeze of the season. To put it into perspective -- it has not been this cold since March 2024.
Temperatures hold in the 40s Friday, but it’ll be more like the 30s from the weekend on. Along with a dry stretch setting up, we begin a stretch of sub-freezing mornings, even in the city.
If you are traveling back home after celebrating the holiday, you are in luck, because although it was a very wet Thanksgiving Day, clear skies and dry weather will be with us for the days to come.
