MLB altered the Tampa Bay Rays’ 2025 schedule that emphasizes home games early and road contests later due to Tropicana Field’s damage.

An assessment of the hurricane damage to Tropicana Field said the home of the Tampa Bay Rays can be repaired for about $55.7 million in time for 2026.

The 23-year-old shortstop is on administrative leave by Major League Baseball and the player’s association through July 14.
