A New York City family is asking for help after their daughter, who is autistic, went missing on Halloween. NBC New York’s Marc Santia reports.

A desperate search is underway in New York City after the parents of a 21-year-old woman with autism said they woke up just days ago, and their daughter was gone.

The New Jersey magnitude 4.8 earthquake was felt from hundreds of miles away, with some in the tri-state feeling the Earth move under their feet for the first time ever. But just a few hours later, a magnitude 4.0 aftershock hit in the same area of the state and again was felt throughout the region.

It was the question of the day on Friday: Did you feel it? The magnitude 4.8 earthquake that hit northern New Jersey had impacts ranging from Maryland to Massachusetts, though amazingly there were no reports of injuries or damage to any buildings, other than a small number of homes or private property. NBC New York has team coverage.

The only reports of damage following the magnitude 4.8 earthquake were in regards to private property, with no reports of injuries anywhere across the tri-state.
