Prosecutors say the 28-year-old Brooklyn man was in a car whose driver cut off another car in Queens on Oct. 16 and then intentionally backed into the vehicle.

In a wild scene caught on camera in Ozone Park, an SUV suddenly exploded while parked on the street, with the blast so intense that several other cars and homes were damaged. NBC New York’s Gaby Acevedo reports.

Authorities are investigating the explosion of an SUV in Queens Friday as an accident. According to fire officials and a law enforcement source, an unoccupied vehicle parked on 133rd Street near 131st Avenue with a propane tank in the trunk exploded just before 7 a.m. Friday. No one was inside the vehicle at the time and no injuries were reported….

A burglary suspect trying to elude police in Queens hit a young woman on her bicycle, killing her, before abandoning the car with two other suspects and running away, authorities say. According to the NYPD, cops tried to stop the pick-up truck near 34th Avenue and 37th Street in Astoria and the driver sped off. It was around 11 p.m….
