Deadly Shootout Breaks Out at Good Friday Procession in Mexico
Two people died after a shootout during a Good Friday procession in Acapulco, Mexico, at the start of Easter weekend, authorities say. Gunshots rang out as dozens of people dressed as ancient Romans and Biblical figures were marching. Local media reported that the shootout was between local police and armed men that had stolen a car. Acapulco is considered Mexico’s murder capital and is among the most dangerous places in the world.
