US soldier killed in Korean War is laid to rest on Long Island, decades after his death

A U.S. soldier killed in combat during the Korean War received a special service on Long Island on Monday. For decades, the war hero’s family was left without closure, until a DNA test confirmed his remains early in 2024. NBC New York’s Greg Cergol reports.
