Stock market continues to tumble as China imposes new retaliatory tariffs

In a 48-hour span, the Dow Jones, S&P 500 and Nasdaq all plummeted somewhere in the neighborhood of 10% — the worst slide since the beginning of the COVID pandemic. President Trump doubled down on tariffs as he spent the day at his Florida golf course.
