What a wild start.
The NFL playoffs began Saturday with the first of six wild card matchups over three days. The San Francisco 49ers became the first team to advance to the divisional round with a 41-23 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. The Saturday doubleheader then concluded with the Jacksonville Jaguars completing a stunning 27-point comeback to defeat the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Buffalo Bills held off the Miami Dolphins in the first of three Sunday wild card contests. The New York Giants then upset the Minnesota Vikings to advance to play the Philadelphia Eagles in the divisional round. Closing out Sunday's tripleheader, the Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Baltimore Ravens on a 98-yard fumble return for a touchdown.
The wild card round wrapped up Monday night with the Dallas Cowboys defeating Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to claim the final spot in the divisional round.
