Jets to Allow Fans at 8 Training Camp Practices This Summer

The New York Jets will have eight training camp practices open to fans this summer, including two joint sessions with the Philadelphia Eagles before their preseason game.

The team announced Tuesday that tickets for fans will be free through the team’s website beginning Wednesday at 10 a.m. Club and PSL holders were able to get early access on Tuesday.

The Jets did not have fans at any training camp practices last summer because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Seven of the open practices will be at the team’s facility in Florham Park, New Jersey: July 31, Aug. 2, Aug. 4, Aug. 9 and Aug. 11. Leading into New York’s preseason finale at home against Philadelphia on Aug. 27, the teams will practice together at the Jets’ facility on Aug. 24 and 25.

Off-site parking will be free and shuttle service will be provided.

The Jets’ annual green and white scrimmage at MetLife Stadium will be held on Aug. 7 at 7 p.m.

As permitted by New Jersey policies on business and gatherings, fans will not be required to show proof of vaccination. Face coverings also will not be required. Fans who attend any of the practices are asked to adhere to the NFL’s fan health promise, which provides COVID-19 guidelines.

Also, fans will not be permitted to get autographs or photographs with players or coaches at practice sessions, per NFL and NFLPA protocols.

The Jets, with new coach Robert Saleh and rookie quarterback Zach Wilson, are scheduled to report to training camp on July 27.
