The New England Patriots' mascot is reportedly spending his time off the field doing something a little less patriotic -- on Craigslist.
One of the men behind Pat the Patriot's costume was nabbed this weekend in a prostitution sting in Rhode Island, NBC 10 reported Friday.
Robert Sormanti of Warwick, R.I., 47, was cuffed by state police, who said they also nabbed 13 others in the sting, which began when a new law went into effect banning indoor prostitution in the state.
Sormanti was one of the johns who tried to cash in on sex with a prostitute, law enforcement officials said.
Sormanti is one of the players behind Pat the Patriot, the American flag-decorated mascot for the Super Bowl-winning football team.
He's facing up to a year in prison and a $1,000 fine.
