Officials issue warning about high salt levels in New York water system

In Westchester County, the Department of Environmental Protection is sending out a warning about rising salt levels in the fresh water supply that is connected to road treatments in cold weather. High salinity levels can lead to high blood pressure as well as impact the local ecosystem. NBC New York’s Lynda Baquero reports.
