NYC high school students grow produce using hydroponic technology

La Salle Academy, a Catholic all-boys high school in Lower Manhattan founded in 1848, established the Green Team, a program enabling students to grow and provide lettuce and micro-cilantro to a local restaurant, food banks, the Good Companion Senior Center and the Selis Manor for the blind.
