New Jersey mom's cancer survival story

In 2019, while pregnant, Kelly began experiencing concerning symptoms, which were misdiagnosed until a colonoscopy revealed stage three rectal cancer. Faced with this news just as she was starting her family, Kelly was given a chance to participate in a clinical trial led by Stand Up To Cancer’s Colorectal Cancer Dream Team. This trial, using immunotherapy as a first-line treatment, was a life-changing decision for Kelly. After just nine treatments, her tumor disappeared. NBC News 4 New York’s Pat Battle reports.
