"True Blood"'s Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have now made their off-screen romance official.
Us Weekly is confirming that the co-stars of the hit show tied the knot last night at a residence in Malibu, Calif. The ceremony took place in a tent opposite the beach.
Among the guests present at the wedding included “True Blood” actress Carrie Preston and husband Michael Emerson of “Lost,” as well as Elijah Wood.
Paquin, 28, and Moyer, 40, had dated around the time of filming the first season of the vampire series hit in 2008. They announced their engagement in August of last year. Moyer proposed to Paquin in Hawaii and gave her a ring that he co-designed with jeweler Kathy Waterman.
According to Us, Moyer had previously explained why the couple kept their relationship a secret until they started publicly dating in February 2009. “It was very important to me that the cast and crew we were working with didn't feel it was fickle....We didn't want to take anything away from the show," he said.
Moyer also spoke of his then-girlfriend to E! News last year: "There's no one I'd rather work with. I love working with her and that's how it all started, by falling in love on camera."
“True Blood” is now in its third season on HBO. Paquin and Moyer are also featured on the cover of the new issue of Rolling Stone.
