A Qatari appeals court on Sunday overturned a ruling against an American couple once accused of murdering their adopted 8-year-old daughter and said they are free to leave. But a representative for the family said the couple was later barred from leaving the country. Grace and Matthew Huang of Los Angeles had been held in Qatar after being convicted of child endangerment and sentenced to three years in prison when their daughter died of medical problems in January 2013. The couple headed to the airport on Sunday, soon after the ruling to try to leave Qatar but immigration officials blocked the Huangs from leaving and confiscated their passports, Eric Volz told The Associated Press.
