For Taylor Swift, winning a Grammy wasn't the hard part -- it's holding onto it.
The 20-year-old singer dropped and broke a stunt Grammy Award while posing for pictures with her four awards backstage, TMZ.com reported Monday.
Swift, who took home the evening's top honor for Album of the Year, was juggling her four gramophone-shaped awards when an errant award fell and snapped into pieces on the backstage floor.
Her acceptance speech showed how nervous the young singer was for her star-making turn on the Grammy stage -- the excited Swift said her family was "freaking out" at home after her wins.
Swift later said on her Twitter that she would forever "remember this night, this celebration, the screaming and hugging of people I love."
The singer was nominated for eight Grammys but lost in several categories to Beyonce, who was the evening's top winner with 6 awards.
Swift's "Fearless" was second only to Beyonce's "I Am...Sasha Fierce" among female nominees.
