Matt Damon Honored, Roasted by American Cinematheque

Matt Damon received the 24th American Cinematheque Award on Saturday with a little help from his friends.

"The worst thing I could say is, you know, Matt Damon is like, maybe he's a perfectionist," Sarah Silverman, who previously joined the actor for the 2008 viral video smash, "I'm F***ing Matt Damon," said.

Sarah, whose song with Matt was intended as a comedic dig at her then-boyfriend, late night host Jimmy Kimmel (and originally broadcast on his show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live"), used her personal experiences with the actor to give her the fodder for her Saturday night jokes.

"His breath is like, Jesus! And his hair plugs are really obvious. Besides that, there's like nothing. So sorry, roast not possible!" she joked.

Sarah wasn't the only one getting in on the action. Jennifer Garner took the stage to poke fun at her husband, Ben Affleck, and his longtime friendship with Matt.

"Ben is half of one of the greatest love stories ever told. Not with me," she joked. "The actual prototype for the great Hollywood Bromance… Here's proof that love is alive and well in Hollywood. At least for my darling husband and my husband's darling husband."

Ben himself appeared to present the trophy to his pal, telling the crowd, "Matt always said to me, 'Ben, there are two things that are more important to me than anything else in this world.' Folks: 'Fame, money.' You did it, Matty! You got there!"

The "Green Zone" star accepted his honor with some jokes of his own.

"I can honestly say there's a good chance that next year, Ben will be here, presenting this award to someone else," Matt said. "There's a lot of buzz about Vanessa Hudgens."
