Michael Shannon tells Seth Meyers about how he doesn’t engage in a lot of small talk on set but says he loves repetition when it comes to acting. He says director Guillermo del Toro has met his match because he is also a perfectionist and loves to re-do takes. Shannon’s costar who plays the creature in “Shape of Water” may not be as enthusiastic about the repetition due to his uncomfortable costume.
