Mount Sinai's Beth Israel Hospital set to close at midnight
It may be the end of the line for Mount Sinai’s Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan. The 135-year-old hospital is set to close at midnight Thursday. A last-minute appeal saved it earlier in March thanks to community activists who say residents of Gramercy and the East Village won’t have a neighborhood hospital, putting their health care are risk. NBC New York’s Gus Rosendale reports.
