Midtown sidewalk explosion sends pedestrians running

An explosion ripped apart a sidewalk in midtown around lunchtime, sending chunks of concrete into the air just seconds after people had been walking over the spot. Somehow, no injuries were reported. NBC new York’s Marc Santia reports.
