Long Island Synagogue Takes Part in MLK Day of Service

Dozens gathered at a Long Island synagogue to help others, on the only national holiday designated as a national day of service. But heavy on their minds was the hostage situation over the weekend at a Texas synagogue, and the increased threats against the Jewish community. NBC New York’s Greg Cergol reports.
