- It also has a large range of new menu items, including a large new offering for vegetarians and vegans
Yankee Stadium has revealed its 2019 dining guide, and there's going to be some spicy new options on the menu.
Buffalo Wild Wings has this year joined the lineup of 31 "dining destinations" at the stadium. Get your wings in section 107.
Meanwhile Big Mozz (section 127) and City Winery Wine Bar (section 106) will embark on their first full seasons this year, Newsday reports. Cheese lovers can head to Big Mozz for melty mozzarella sticks covered in fresh garlic, parsley, and Pecorino Romano cheese.
Not enough cheese? City Winery is also introducing a Burrata Burger, with an aged-beef patty, Italian burrata cheese, pancetta, oven-roasted tomato relish and baby arugula.
The stadium has also added a large range of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options this year -- in total there are 11 different options for vegans, and more for vegetarians. At Bareburger, about 50 percent of the menu is vegan. Check out the new "Changeup Burger" with an Impossible 2.0 vegan patty, American cheese, caramelized onions, pickles, green leaf and special sauce.
For the non-vegans -- hotdogs can be washed down with a Tres Leches Milkshake (available in sections 112, 125 and 324). It's a vanilla shake with tres leches cake, churro and condensed milk, rim garnished with puffed rice.
Local
The stadium also has a large range of craft beers in cans and on draft, and almost two dozen traditional canned beers. If you're looking for something special to mark the mood, the NY Pinstripe Pilsner, brewed by New York's Blue Point Brewing Company is available exclusively at Yankee Stadium.
Brewed with a Pilsner malt and Motueka hops from New Zealand, the beer is said to be "crisp, clean and balanced" -- in direct contrast to how you will be feeling after going crazy on the new menu.
