Police are investigating the death of a woman found in a Queens park with slash wounds to her neck and abdomen.
The body of the unidentified woman was discovered just before 3 p.m. Sunday inside Kissena Park near Golden Street and Laburnum Avenue in Flushing, said police, who had responded to a report of an unconscious person.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. There was no information as to how long the body had been there.
