Woman Afraid to Drive During Blizzard Found Dead in NJ Burger King Parking Lot

Authorities say that the woman had parked outside the restaurant at some point during Saturday's historic blizzard and told workers she was afraid to drive in the snow.

An elderly New York woman was found dead in her car at a New Jersey Burger King Monday morning after authorities say she parked there and told employees at the fast-food restaurant she was uncomfortable driving in the snow.

Frances McQuaige, 78, was found Monday morning in Hackensack. Authorities say that she died of coronary artery disease and low environmental temperatures.

Authorities say that the woman had parked outside the restaurant Friday amid the weekend's historic blizzard and told workers she was afraid to drive in the snow.

She died some time after parking, authorities say.

Authorities say her car was not running and the keys were not in the ignition when she was found.

At least 46 people died as a result of the storm across the East Coast.
