New York state has canceled its missing child alert for a 13-year-old New York City boy with autism who vanished in Brooklyn Monday evening, according to a notification released to the public Wednesday.
Details on where Rodney Ferguson was found weren't shared, nor was any information on his condition.
The initial notice for Ferguson, who is staying at a temporary housing facility in Brooklyn, the New York City Children's Center Brooklyn Campus on Bergen Street, went out Tuesday. He had last been seen on Bergen Street around 8 p.m. Monday.
He was believed to be with a 15-year-old boy, Christopher Dixon, who was also staying at that facility. Dixon was also reported missing.
