A law enforcement source says cops are canvassing the area for surveillance video in hopes of getting a clearer image of their suspects.

Three people have been arrested in connection with a broad daylight machete attack in Times Square on Thursday, authorities say.

It wasn't clear whether the trio was known to the 32-year-old victim, who according to the NYPD was stabbed in both legs at West 45th Street and Broadway around 10 a.m.

The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive. He was last said to be in stable condition Friday.

The three charged early Friday are in their 20s and 40s and from Brooklyn and the Bronx. All three face charges of reckless endangerment and obstruction of governmental administration.

One also is accused of criminal possession of a weapon.
