UberEATS tapped into their data to reveal the 10 most popular grilled cheese orders in the city.
In addition to the most popular orders, UberEATS also identified the most “grilled cheese-loving” neighborhoods, which are West and East Villages.
1. Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese - Cheese Grille
The Cheese Grille on the Lower East Side is home to the most popular grilled cheese order in the city. The buffalo chicken grilled cheese claimed the top spot on UberEATS’ list. It also ranked No. 8 nationally.
2. Grilled Cheese - Black Burger
The grilled cheese at Black Burger in Tribeca is the second most popular in the city among those who order from UberEATS, according to the data.

UberEATS customers seem to love the grilled cheese and tomato soup from Creamline in Chelsea. It is the third most popular grilled cheese order in all of the city, according to UberEATS. Creamline’s grilled cheese is made with cheddar from New York and the tomato soup is made with Jersey tomatoes.
4. Grilled Cheese w/ Toppings - Burger Urway
Burger Urway in Brooklyn serves up the fourth most popular grilled cheese order in the city, according to UberEATS. When you look at the price you can see why. The “classic sandwich” is just $3.65 and additional toppings are $1.50 each.
5. Creamy Tomato Soup & Half Grilled Cheese - Sweethaus
Sweethaus’ creamy tomato soup and half grilled cheese was the fifth most popular grilled cheese order in the city, according to UberEATS. The Brooklyn cafe may be known for its cupcakes, but that’s clearly not all customers love there.
6. Grilled Cheese - BEC
BEC in Chelsea may stand for bacon, egg and cheese, but that’s not the only food offering that has won the hearts of takeout lovers in NYC. The grilled cheese at BEC came in sixth on UberEATS’ list of most popular grilled cheese orders in the city.

The Grilled Cheese at Westville East in the East Village is a cheddar and gouda blend served on a Portugese roll. It is also the seventh most popular grilled cheese order in the city, according to UberEATS.
8. Grilled Cheese - Blank Slate
This small Flatiron eatery serves up coffee, breakfast bites and the eighth most popular grilled cheese order in the city, according to UberEATS.
9. Classic Grilled Cheese - Little Muenster
It should come as no surprise that a restaurant named Little Muenster serves a great grilled chesse. The Battery Park restaurant’s serves a host of more creative grilled cheese options, but the classic is their most popular grilled cheese order, according to UberEATS.
10. Grilled Cheese Sandwich - The Brooklyn Tree
The Brooklyn Tree is home to the 10th most popular grilled cheese order in the city, according to UberEATS. The eatery doesn’t just serve your classic American cheese on white bread, their grilled cheese features aged white cheddar, gruyere, whipped ricotta, kale and roasted red peppers on parmesan crusted country bread.
