Two teens punched a subway conductor in the head while she had her head out of the train window to conduct a safety check, police say.
The 49-year-old conductor was on a southbound L train when she stuck her head out of the window at about 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25, according to police.
That's when one of the teenage boys punched her in the back of the head, police said. When the train's motorman stopped the train in response, another teenage boy also struck the conductor in the head.
EMS responded and took the conductor to an area hospital, where she was treated and released for a minor injury.
Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
