Target Tractor-Trailer Bursts into Flames on New Jersey Highway

A Target tractor-trailer burst into flames on I-287 southbound by exit 58 in Oakland, New Jersey Thursday evening. It appears the truck driver lost control and hit a guardrail, which ripped off a rear wheel and caused the fire. The driver escaped the flames and there are no reported injuries. Rubbernecking delays were growing on the southbound side of 287, but northbound lanes were getting by. Route 202 directly underneath was also getting by.
