A suspected shoplifter fleeing into a subway station wound up dead on the tracks when a train hit them, police said.
The person had stolen something from Metro PCS in Brooklyn, then ran into the Q-train Sheepstead station, police said. The person was walking on the tracks and was struck by a train.
The person died at the scene. No further information was given.
