A Smithtown teacher is in hot water with administrators after she called some of her students racist in a Facebook post, inciting outrage among parents.

Veronica Welsh, a teacher at Smithtown High School West, made the post on her personal Facebook page, according to News 12 Long Island. 

"This week is spirit week at Smithtown H.S. West. It's easy to spot which students are racist, by the Trump gear they're sporting for USA day," the post reads.

In a statement, the Smithtown Central School District called the post inappropriate and said it has already taken action, although there's no word on the specific action. As of Thursday afternoon, the post could no longer be found online.
