A thief with a penchant for stealing jeans has caught the attention of the NYPD.
The man accused of stealing from stores in midtown Manhattan allegedly got away with almost $9,000 in denim jeans and nearly an additional $1,000 in purses.
Police said the man struck eight stores within a three-week period in January.
The thief hit a Banana Republic, Furla, and three different Gap stores across Midtown, police said.
