A school bus crashed into another vehicle and a tree in upstate New York Tuesday morning, injuring three children and the bus driver, police say.
The bus was heading south on New York Route 303 in Valley Cottage at about 7:30 a.m. when it hit a car, police say. After the initial impact, the bus slammed into a tree.
Police say that the driver of the bus and three children aboard the vehicle were taken to Nyack Hospital for minor injuries. The two people in the car were uninjured.
The bus was taking children to Rockland County Day School in Valley Cottage.
The crash is under investigation and it's not clear if any charges could be filed.
