Kellogg is recalling a host of snacks and treats, including Keebler animal crackers, Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies and Keebler honey grahams, because they may contain undeclared peanut residue, the company said Monday.
Kellogg initiated the recall after its supplier, Grain Craft, recalled wheat flours that has the potential to contain low levels of peanut residue.
Nearly two dozen products are affected by the recall, but the recall is specific to certain dates of production. To see if your snacks might be affected, click here for a full list of the items recalled and the production dates.
The FDA has said the amount of peanut exposure from the flour is low and not expected to cause adverse health effects in most consumers allergic to peanuts, though anyone who is allergic to peanuts is advised to avoid the products as a precaution.
Kellogg says it has received no reports of related illness to date and is recalling the products out of an abundance of caution.
