A 32-year-old Queens man died when he crashed into a median on the Whitestone Expressway Wednesday morning, police say.
Kevin Tamasar was driving a 2008 Nissan northbound on Whitestone Expressway when he hit a median near the Van Wyck Expressway just after 11:30 a.m., according to police.
The impact sent the car flying over the ramp, and it landed about 25 feet below onto Harper Street, police said.
The victim was from Flushing, Queens, according to the NYPD. Police are investigating what caused the crash.
