A pot-selling ring that was a major supplier to New York City was busted Wednesday in Sullivan County.
More than a dozen people were arrested, all of whom appeared to be undocumented immigrants, law enforcement sources tell NBC New York.
The Drug Enforcement Administration and local police raids discovered more than $10 million worth of marijuana -- thousands of plants -- in at least eight upstate homes.
"It's probably a record for Sullivan County," said Undersheriff Eric Chaboty.
Officials said authorities found the major supply after sheriffs pulled over a car and smelled marijuana.
Search warrants were then executed early Wednesday.
