Police are searching for the man who tackled a woman to the ground and then stole her purse in New York City.
The 21-year-old victim was entering an apartment building near East 10th Street and First Avenue in the East Village last month when the man targeted her.
Police said he tackled the woman to the ground inside of the building’s vestibule. He then ripped her purse out of her hands and took off down East 10th Street.
The woman found her purse a few blocks away.
Police said that the suspect is believed to be in his early-to-mid 40s.
