The Empire State Building is lighting the way again this holiday season as it syncs its lights to a Mariah Carey hit in the nights leading up to Christmas.
Carey pulled the switch at a lighting ceremony in the building’s art deco lobby on Monday, ushering in a nightly light show to her song “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
The light show will be synced every night until Christmas at 7 p.m. on iHeartMedia New York’s Z100, 103.5 KTU and 106.7 Life FM.
The holiday light show features a dazzling display of red, green and white and is visible across much of the city and tri-state.
“I can see the Empire State Building from my apartment,” Carey said. “To have its iconic lights synced to my song is the perfect gift this holiday season.”
Fans can post their photos and video with the hashtag #ESBUnwrapped.
