Firefighters battled heavy flames and smoke inside a Bronx building that sent over a half dozen people to the hospital, crews say.
The blaze was called in just after 9 p.m. Thursday and took firefighters about an hour to completely get it under control, firefighters said.
The fire started on the fourth floor of a sixth-story building in Norwood and seven people were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries, officials said.
Video from the scene shows the flames spewing out of the building as smoke fills the night sky in the area.
It wasn't immediately clear what sparked the fire.
