Teacher at NJ Rehab Center Accused of Sex With Patient, 18: Prosecutors

A New Jersey teacher was arrested Thursday after an alleged sexual relationship with an 18-year-old student at a drug rehabilitation facility, authorities say.

Donna D. Pierce-Faley, a teacher at the Daytop New Jersey drug treatment facility in Mendham, is charged with second-degree sexual assault after the alleged relationship with a teen undergoing court-ordered rehab at the center, according to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office.

It’s not clear how long the alleged relationship went on.

Pierce-Faley, 28, is behind held at Morris County Correctional Facility on $150,000 bail and was ordered by a judge not to have contact with the victim or anyone under the age of 18.

Attorney information for the woman wasn’t immediately available.
