NJ Gov. Christie: “Not a Fan of Same-Sex Marriage”

While New York's passage of the same-sex marriage bill has supporters hopeful that other states will pass a similar law, New Jersey may not be one of them.

Sunday morning on "Meet the Press," Gov. Chris Christie said he would not support a similar measure.

"I am not a fan of same-sex marriage, it's not something that I support," he said. "I believe a marriage should be between one man and one woman. That's my view, and that'll be the view of our state because I wouldn't sign a bill like the one that was in New York."

Christie told host David Gregory that New Jersey will continue to pursue civil unions.
