Men Who Stole 40 Guns From Upstate Store May Have Associates in NYC: Federal Authorities

Police say they're searching for at least two men who stole dozens of guns from a store Upstate, and they say the suspects may have associates in New York City.

Police in the Schenectady County town of Glenville say at least three people were caught on the video surveillance at Target Sports breaking into the business through a window early Monday morning.

Authorities say they believe two of those men are 23-year-old Christian Roman and 36-year-old Jose Fontanez and that warrants have been issued for their arrest.

Officials say the trio of burglars smashed open display cases and stole 40 long guns and handguns before fleeing in a vehicle, which was later found.

Police have released surveillance images that show three people wearing hooded sweatshirts inside the store.

Glenville police, state police and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating.

Authorities said if someone sees the men they should call the ATF at 1-888-ATF-GUNS.
