Man Tosses Molotov Cocktails Into Brooklyn Grocery Store: NYPD

Police are searching for a firebomber who launched a pair of Molotov cocktails in the middle of a Brooklyn supermarket. Rana Novini reports.

Police are looking for the fire-bomber they said chucked a pair of Molotov cocktails into a Brooklyn grocery store before riding off on a motorcycle earlier this week.

Surveillance footage from Tashkent Supermarket in Brighton Beach shows a masked man walking into the grocery store and pitching two of the flaming bottles before leaving on Wednesday night.

Authorities said that afterward, he and another man on a motorcycle waiting outside made their getaway.

No one was injured in the firebombing, and employees at the store were able to stamp out the flames.

The grocery store's owner told News 4 that he wasn't sure why anyone would target their store.

Anyone with information about the man should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
