Police had been forced to stop traffic to help a 22-year-old man who had suffered a medical emergency; an ambulance had to make its way inside the tube, which compounded the traffic jam, according to Port Authority officials.


The man who ended up ditching his car apparently was frustrated by the bottleneck. He was quickly arrested on a trespassing charge, according to police. No other details were available about the man who was arrested.
