The man was driving the Suzuki motorcycle northbound on Rockaway Parkway in Canarsie at about 9:30 p.m. when he was hit by a car, police said.
The 1991 Volvo, driven by a 66-year-old man, was traveling southbound on Rockaway Parkway and was making a left turn eastbound on Avenue J when it hit the motorcycle, according to police.
The motorcyclist was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. A 20-year-old woman who was also on the motorcycle was treated for minor injuries.
Police are investigating the crash. No arrests have been made and the victim’s identity was not immediately released.
