Police have arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with a rape last week in Brooklyn where an attacker held a 52-year-old woman at gunpoint and knocked her teeth out.

Kareem David was charged with rape and assault in the attack on a 52-year-old woman on Aug. 17, the NYPD said.

The victim was on Putnam Avenue at about 3 a.m. when the suspect ordered her to follow him, allegedly threatening to shoot her if she didn’t, according to police.

The woman followed him to a building on Lefferts Place, where he allegedly attacked her and shoved his fingers down her throat, police said.

He then allegedly took off her underwear and raped her near an outside staircase leading to a basement, knocking out two of her teeth in the process, according to cops.

She was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

It was not immediately clear if David had an attorney.
