Police have released clear, close-up video of a man allegedly robbing another man at knifepoint inside an East Harlem building last week.
The video shows the alleged robber confronting the 62-year-old victim in what appears to be a lobby in the area of East 106th Street and Second Avenue after 11 p.m. Friday, May 27, police said.
The suspect in the white shirt pats the victim's pocket several times as the victim tries to move away from him, the video shows. He then encircles his arms around the victim's body and wrestles away a wallet, then runs out the door.
Police said the suspect showed a knife and he took off the wallet, which contained about $300 and other items.
The victim wasn't hurt.
