More than 20,000 people remained stranded in Hoboken
late Tuesday as Sandy's floodwaters surrounded homes, including the apartment building where Giants quarterback Eli Manning and his wife live with their toddler.
A Giants fan tweeted a photo of the two-time Super Bowl MVP peering down at the flooded lobby of the Hudson Tea Building, where a banner of caution tape cordoned off the stairs and, for the time being, appeared to keep the QB in bounds.

Kate Mara, niece of longtime Giants owner John Mara, retweeted the photo to her followers Tuesday night.
Roughly half the town of Hoboken is under water, authorities said. Members of the New Jersey National Guard arrived Tuesday night to help deliver supplies and evacuate buildings after Mayor Dawn Zimmer called for assistance.
Superstorm Sandy walloped the region Monday, making landfall near Atantic City, N.J., and leaving at least 40 people dead across the tri-state area.
