Crews in hazardous materials suits will sweep through New York City's Grand Central Terminal overnight, but there's no cause for alarm -- it's a drill.
Emergency responders will be testing the city's plan for airborne biological hazards from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, health department officials said.
Grand Central Terminal will be closed to the public from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. Saturday.
New Yorkers can expect to see emergency vehicles and health workers in hazmat suits as part of the drill.
The multi-agency exercise will include teams from the police department, fire department, the FBI, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and the Department of Environmental Protection.
