Fashion designer Tory Burch says her beloved dog "Chicken," lost near Central Park over the weekend, has been returned safely.
Her 7-month old brown miniature poodle "Chicken" had been missing since she was last seen near East 61st Street and Fifth Avenue at the southeastern part of Central Park on Sunday around 7:30 p.m.
A couple, last seen the same night she went missing, around midnight near the First Republic Bank located on East 56th Street and Madison Avenue, allegedly was going to get the dog's micro-chip scanned, according to Burch's Instagram account. It appears that was the same couple that returned the dog.
Burch posted Wednesday morning: "Our Chicken is home! Thank you to the couple who found her, kept her safe and brought her home. Thank you so much to everyone who reached out and for all of your support -- especially the pet-lovers of NYC!"
Burch had put up a $10,000 reward for anyone who returned her pup, with no questions asked.
